Chetland Industries have been manufacturing Column Cases for Mezzanine Floors for over 16 years and we are one of the largest suppliers in the UK.

Although we tend to supply half hour or one hour Column Cases in most instances, we have the ability to provide product which exceeds these criteria when necessity dictates a more stringent approach to fire safety.

Typically, our Column Cases are supplied with either a WHITE PLASTISOL or GALVANISED finish (where functionality is the main requirement), although other BS or RAL colours can be provided where corporate appearance might be important.

The inner core material and thickness will vary depending upon the level of fire protection required and Column wall thickness - ‘Firetech 160’ by Knauf is the default material which we use, and generally the Case thickness will not exceed 30mm unless very thin wall Columns or enhanced levels of protection are specified.

In all cases, Chetland Industries WILL PROVIDE CURRENT CERTIFICATION if required, in order that you can remain confident that the Column Cases supplied will provide the fire protection which you require.
